KEEP ON TRACK DURING HOLIDAYS!

OH, NO, THE HOLIDAY!

We exercised during the year, we achieved amazing results, and we are happy with how well we look at this point. We gave so much effort and invested so much time in these results.

But, now it's time for a family vacation and we don't want to lose everything we achieved so far. We are scared that after vacation we will go back to the shape we were before exercising. We are scared that everything will be lost.

Don't worry!

Once you build up your muscles you can't lose them so easily! Of course, it's always better to do some activities, it doesn't need to be a serious workout, but some simple activities!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE MUSCLES LOSE THEIR SHAPE?

The great news is that our body is not forgetting so easily what we have done. Once you have built up a good base, your muscles are built up and your muscles are full of proteins.

We need two weeks of not doing anything to start to lose our muscles. What is actually happening is that our muscles are losing proteins and starting to be "empty", to lose power. It's important to know if we have exercised for a longer period of time we will need more time to lose our muscle power.

Somebody who was doing sport for more than 3 months will need 6 weeks to lose the power.

We don't want to lose power, so what should we do?

STAY ACTIVE DURING THE VACATION

In other words, what we need to do is some cardio activities where our heartbeat is at a high level. Walking, cycling, swimming or other sports activities are highly beneficial. So, don't worry, once you take a rest from exercising you can still keep the shape.

Of course, we recommend using as many activities as you can.

TIPS AND TRICKS TO STAY IN SHAPE DURING THE VACATION PERIOD

1. Visit destinations with more nature

2. Visit interesting places

3. Walk everywhere, as much as you can

4. Wear comfortable shoes/sneakers

5. Eat your breakfast
